Zero tolerance
Limit for a pesticide residue in food or feed
which is assumed to be zero and therefore any
detectable residue is deemed illegal. Zero
tolerances are used by some regulatory systems,
e.g. USA. where no maximum residue limits
have been established for particular
pesticide/crop combinations. |
